The Vault Candle Box

The materials

To make this object you need:

• tailor scissors (with a long blade) ;
• ruler (the same kind used at school too);
• short pins;
• a 20 cm. diameter polystyrene ball cut in half;
• 50 cm of painted ribbon;
• three different kind of tape each one 4 cm. high and 85 cm long;
• adhesive golden paper.

First step

Make a partial hole on the vault summit for the candle. Run round the hole with a 10 cm. paper disk.

Second step

Hide the paper border with three round of colored braid.

Third step

Make four triangles cutting four pieces of dark tape of 7,5 cm.; put the tip of every triangle at the border of the hole and fasten the base.

Fourth step

The second round of colored tape must cover the empty spaces.
